Why Lumio

Designed to stay out of your way.

Most apps ask for more of your attention. Lumio asks for just a few quiet minutes. One thoughtful prompt is all it takes to slow down and reconnect with yourself.

  • Read.
  • Reflect.
  • Close the app.

Then get on with your day.

One thoughtful prompt is all it takes to slow down and reconnect with yourself. Because the goal was never more screen time. It was always to help you spend a little more time with yourself.

One Thoughtful Prompt

Every day begins with one carefully chosen quote and one reflection question. No endless feeds or overwhelming choices.

Write for Yourself

Whether it's one sentence or one page, your reflections are yours alone. No likes, followers, or pressure to perform.

Private by Default

Your journal stays on your device. Optional iCloud Sync is available with Support Lumio.

Intentionally Small

No ads. No algorithms. No infinite scroll. Just one meaningful moment each day.

About the maker

Hi, I'm Eric 👋

Lumio started with two simple habits.

At work, we'd answer one thoughtful question every day. It seemed small at first, but over time those questions changed how I thought. Around the same time, I was collecting quotes that made me pause, pairing them with my own reflections in a journal. Eventually, those two habits became one daily ritual.

I built Lumio to share that ritual with others.

I'm building it on my own, deliberately small. No ads, no endless feeds, no algorithms competing for your attention. Just one thoughtfully chosen quote, one honest question, and a quiet place to write what's true.

If Lumio helps you slow down, reflect a little deeper, or understand yourself a little better, then it's doing exactly what I hoped it would.

Thanks for being here.
