Lumio is a daily reflection app for iPhone.
Each day you'll receive one thoughtfully chosen quote and one reflection question. Write your thoughts in a private journal, one day at a time.
Lumio is intentionally calm. There are no feeds, followers, or endless scrolling. Just one quiet moment to pause and reflect.
Because that's the whole idea.
Lumio is designed around one thoughtful moment each day. More prompts would turn it into a feed, and Lumio is intentionally not a feed.
Every quote and reflection question is carefully curated to encourage thoughtful reflection, not provide advice or answers.
Have a quote you'd love to see in Lumio?
Open Settings → Suggest a Quote to submit it. Every submission is personally reviewed before it may appear in the app.

If you'd like to support Lumio, you can subscribe to Support Lumio, which unlocks the ability to reflect on previous days, optional iCloud Sync, and future Supporter features.

Your reflections belong to you.
By default, everything you write stays on your device.
If you enable iCloud Sync through Support Lumio, your journal is stored privately in your Apple iCloud account so it can sync across your Apple devices.
Lumio never publishes your reflections or shares them with other users.

Privacy is one of Lumio's core principles.
Your journal is yours. It isn't shared with other users, sold to advertisers, or used to train AI models.

Lumio has no social features. There are no public profiles, followers, comments, or shared journals.
Your reflections are yours alone.

Open any reflection from your Archive to view, edit, or delete it whenever you'd like.

Go to Settings → Export Journal.
You can export your reflections as Markdown or Plain Text, then save or share them using the iOS Share Sheet.

This permanently removes your journal from your device and, if enabled, your iCloud account.
This action cannot be undone.
Support Lumio is an optional subscription that helps keep Lumio independent.
As a Supporter, you'll be able to:

Reflecting on previous days is part of Support Lumio.
It's one way your subscription helps support the continued development of Lumio while keeping the daily reflection experience free for everyone.
Once you're a Supporter, you can return to any previous day and continue your journal whenever you're ready.
Current pricing is shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region.
All subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store.
Open Support Lumio from Settings or tap a previous day in the calendar to view the subscription options.
No Lumio account is required.
Tap Restore Purchases from the Support Lumio screen.
If you've previously subscribed using the same Apple ID, your subscription will be restored automatically.
Open:
iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Lumio
Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Refund requests are handled by Apple.
Visit Apple's Report a Problem website or contact Apple Support for help with App Store purchases.
iCloud Sync lets your journal stay up to date across your Apple devices.
It's available as part of Support Lumio and is completely optional.
By default, your journal stays only on your device.
If you enable iCloud Sync, it's stored privately in your personal Apple iCloud account.
Lumio does not store your reflections on its own servers.
Open:
Settings → iCloud Sync
Turning sync off stops future syncing.
If you'd also like to remove your journal from iCloud, use Clear All Data.
Lumio only sends gentle reminders to help you remember your daily reflection.
You'll never receive social notifications, marketing messages, or messages from other users.
Open Settings → Reminders.
You can change the reminder time or turn reminders off whenever you'd like.
You can also disable notifications in:
iPhone Settings → Notifications → Lumio
Tapping the heart lets you anonymously show appreciation for a quote.
It increases that quote's global heart count.
Your journal and personal reflections are never shared when you heart a quote.

Share a meaningful quote along with a thoughtful reflection question.
Every submission is reviewed before it may appear in Lumio.
No.
Lumio doesn't sell your personal information or your journal.
There are no ads, no data brokers, and your reflections are never used to train AI models.
